Who We Are
Santa Cecilia Youth Symphony Orchestra is a youth-centred music education programme serving children and young people ages 8–17 through orchestral training, choral singing, and music theory.
Rooted in the discipline and teamwork of a symphony orchestra, Santa Cecilia creates opportunities for young people to grow artistically, socially, and personally through music.
The programme is guided by experienced Venezuelan and Trinidadian music educators, including instructors influenced by Venezuela’s internationally recognised El Sistema movement.
WHO WE ARE
MISSION & VISION
Our vision is to create a transformative pathway for children and youth to grow through orchestral and choral music, becoming confident, expressive, and socially engaged individuals who lead positive change in their communities.

Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality music education for children and youth ages 8 to 17 through consistent group rehearsals and classes in orchestral instruments, choral singing, and music theory. Rooted in the discipline, teamwork, and excellence of a symphony orchestra, we foster musical growth, personal development, opportunity, and a strong sense of belonging.
